SECURITY

Three separate security schemes prevent unautho-
rized access to local and remote modems and DTEs:

¥An AT command password prevents remote config-
uration of the modem.

¥An AT command password prevents remote access
to the DTE while operating in dial-up mode.

¥An autocallback option requires the remote modem
to callback the originating modem using the remote
unit's autodial capability.
