The RPX Repeater Series™ operate on radio
frequencies that are regulated by the Federal
Communications Commission (FCC). To transmit on
these frequencies, you are required to have a license
issued by the FCC. Application is made available on
FCC Form 601 and Schedules D, H, and Remittance
Form 159.
When using portable hand held units with this
repeater, please note that there is an output power
limitation according to FCC's rule part 90.267. This
regulation limits the maximum output power of
portable units to 2 W when used with a repeater
operating on frequencies in the 450 – 470 MHz band
allocated for Industrial/Business use.
