Disassembly

 Z6m/Z6tv CDMA

Slider Stop Test

1.

Hold the phone at a 45 degree angle with one hand as shown.

2.

Fully open the slider.

3.

Place thumb over bottom edge of slider outer housing below the Nav Disk and 
press repeatedly.

4.

If the repair technician questions the acceptability of the slider slop, then the 
technician must judge the phone by comparing it to a properly functioning unit.

5.

If the slider slop is worse than a properly functioning unit, then the phone fails 
this test.

6.

Any failed phone must be quarantined and reworked.
