properly
• Charge batteries (refer to the information provided in this chapter and to your powerbase Owners Manual for
important informaton on battery charging and proper battery care)

To ensure your power positioning system is operating properly and safely,

six (6) months
by a qualified technician.
WARNING! Any sudden or gradual deterioration in the function/performance of your power
positioning system (i.e. increased actuator motor/gearbox noise, rattling, sloppiness, etc...) must
be reported to your Dealer immediately.
• A complete wheelchair inspection by a qualified technician is recommended to ensure there is no unusual
wear and tear, or physical damage that requires servicing and/or repair.
WARNING! Danger of accident if maintenance is insufficient!
• Under difficult operating conditions such as daily travel on steep slopes, or in the case of use in medical
care cases with frequently changing wheelchair users, it is recommended to carry out intermediate
checks on the brakes, accessories and running gear.
• The wheelchair operator is responsible for ensuring that the power wheelchair and seating system
iremains in an operationally reliable condition. Inadequate or neglected care and maintenance of the
mobility device will result in a limitation of the manufacturer's liability.
Important information about maintenance work tools!
Some maintenance work identified in this manual can be carried out by the user without problems,
but does require the correct tools. If you do not have the correct tool available we do not recommend
that you attempt to carry out the relevant work. In this instance, we strongly recommend that you contact
an authorised dealer/specialist to complete the work.
