5.8.2  Back Height Adjustments for Tilt Only Systems

BACK PAN

Height Adjustable

Tilt Back Mount

Height 

Adjust Screw

For systems equipped with a standard Motion Concepts back pan, the back height can be easily adjusted
along the length of the tilt back canes if necessary.   Infinite height adjustments can be made along the length
of the slotted channel in the Tilt Back Mount Block. 

Note:

The range of adjustment may be further increased (if necessary) by adjusting the height/mounting

position of the tilt back mount block on the back pan.

To Adjust Back Height:

1.  Loosen the 2 screws (left & right)  that secure the tilt back mount onto the tilt back canes (

).

Note

: The back pan must be supported when loosening hardware)

2.  Slide the back pan (back cushion) vertically along the channel of tilt back mounts until the desired back
height is achieved (

3.  Retighten mounting hardware 

(screws x2)

to secure the back pan into position.
