1.1.6. Intended Purpose of the Data_Logger Software (opt.)
The intension of the BCom Data_Logger Software is:
• to allow the measurements of a BCom to be monitored by means
of a computer
• to store the recorded data in daily/hourly log-files
• to display measured signals to allow trained engine operator to
localize the damaged part(s)
The Data_Logger Software does not replace the interconnection of
the BCom Evaluator with the engine safety and alarm system
The use of a computer with the BCom is only permitted when it is installed and
configured by motcom GmbH or by its authorized representatives.
motcom GmbH can only provide technical support if motcom GmbH approved
equipment, i.e. interface converter, plugs, etc., is used.
This manual should be shown to the operator how to make the best use of the
software and to alert of safety issues that may arise. The purpose of this manual

to six BCom
systems
All products mentioned in this manual are to be handled only by
personnel with appropriate electrical and computer knowledge, such
as international ISO standards and Microsoft Windows Operating
systems.
Any damages, either human or material, caused by the use of
the products described in this manual for any purpose other than
that intended, is solely the responsibility of the user and not of the
manufacturer.
