6. Turn the unit on with the ON / OFF button. The display will light up.
7. Select the pressure according to the value recommended by the doctor.
8. Set the time of treatment (10 min - 20 min - 30 min).
9. Select the desired treatment: "A" or "B".
10. If needed, deselect some sections.
11. Press START / STOP button to start the treatment.
ATTENTION!
Pay attention to the inflation of the chambers: it has to begin from the most distant
chamber from the heart to the closest.
12. Press START / STOP button to stop the treatment.
Boot
• Wear the boot, close the zipper. The air tubing connections have to be placed outwards.
• Connect all the chambers to the tubes (the shortest tube on the foot and the rest up to the groin).
So connect the ends of the tubes with the same color connectors (pink, yellow, purple, light blue).
• Connect the connector to the compressor.
• The inflation must start from the foot and move on to the groin.
Sleeve
• Wear the sleeve, close the zipper. The air tubing connections have to be placed outwards.
• Connect all the chambers to the tubes (the shortest tube on the foot and the rest up to the groin).
So connect the ends of the tubes with the same color connectors (pink, yellow, purple, light blue).
• Connect the connector to the compressor.
• The inflation must start from the hand and move on towards the shoulder.
Abdominal band/gluteus
• Wear the abdominal band, fasten the Velcro belt.
• Connect all the chambers to the tubes. So connect the ends of the tubes with the same
color connectors (pink, yellow, purple, light blue).
• Connect the connector to the compressor.
• The inflation must start from the distal chamber and move on up to the proximal.
NOTE:
Always consult a doctor to decide the suitable treatment for the patient.
13. MAINTENANCE
The Advance compression therapy LEM by Moretti is carefully checked and supplied with EC
mark, once launched on the market. For patient and physician’s safety we recommend to let
check the device by the manufacturer or by approved laboratory every 2 years. In case of repair,
use only original spare parts and accessories.
14. CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
Pump unit
For the pump unit use only a damp cloth. Pay attention to the display.
NOTE:
DO NOT immerse the device in water!
NOTE:
For a deeper cleaning you can use a small quantity of neutral cleanser. Do not let any
liquid seep into the device and dry it carefully after cleaning.
• Never use acids, alkalis or solvents such as acetone or thinner
• Avoid dropping the device and slamming it against other objetcs
• Avoid strong temperature excursions. Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
• Do not disassemble the product
