HTP-1 Installation and User Guide Release 1.8.1
When the ‘Unit Name’ or the ‘Input Labels’ of the HTP-1 are changed, a remote database is updated so
that the friendly names can be associated with the physical inputs on the HTP-1.
Periodically system health data such as error logs, software versions, and update status are reported to
assist software development and improvement.
When the Alexa Smart Home Skill has been certified by Amazon and is generally available, and when you
have installed the Smart Home Skill and account linked your HTP-1 to your Amazon account, your
Amazon profile identifier is stored in the database to associate the HTP-1 to your Alexa account.
Without this account linking step the HTP-1 is not personally identifiable.
