FIREPLACE INSTALLATION
SEE-THROUGH UNIT (GSTF36) INSTALLATION
1. Locate pre-attached nailing fl anges on the end of fi rebox as
shown in
Figure 16
. DO NOT REMOVE PRE-ATTACHED
NAILING FLANGES.
2. Secure nailing fl anges to corner posts using four (4) self-taping
screws.
See Figure 16.
3. Slide fi rebox into prepared framing or position fi rebox in its
fi nal position and frame later.
4. Bend out four (4) nailing fl anges to 90°,
5. Level and plumb fi rebox by checking edges of fi rebox. Shim
if necessary.
6. Attach nailing fl anges to studs.
See Figure 17.
7. Remove two baseplates from bottom of fi rebox. See Figure 18 .
8. Anchor fi rebox to fl oor with four

9. Install canopy.
