The Brightness (BRITE) menu opon sets the ﬂash duraon which aﬀects
the brightness. Flash duraon can be adjusted in degrees of rotaon
(proporonal ﬂash duraon

—

changes with ﬂash rate) or me in

milliseconds (msec—

ﬁxed ﬂash duraon). The ﬂash duraon will be set

by  the  last ﬂash duraon value  adjusted.   If you adjusted  degrees, the
strobe  will  have  a  ﬂash  duraon  in  degrees  proporonal  to  the  ﬂash
rate.  If the adjustment was in me, the strobe will have a ﬁxed duraon
irrespecve of the ﬂash rate.

This is a live adjustment—if the trigger is depressed, the eﬀect of
changing the brightness can be seen immediately.

5.3.1

Degrees

Press the MENU buon

to enter the BRITE menu. The

current ﬂash duraon will be shown in degrees.

Use the arrows on the joysck to adjust the ﬂash duraon

in degrees -

refer to secon 4.1.1

.

Degrees can be set

from 0.1° to 14°.

Press the MENU buon

followed by the Power buon

to save the degree se8ng.

5.3.2

Time

To set the ﬂash duraon in me instead of degrees, press the
MENU buon

again (skip the DEG menu).

Use the arrows on the joysck to adjust to the me value.

Time can be set from 0.001 mSec to 2.000 mSec.

Press the MENU buon

followed by the Power buon

to save the me se8ng.
