File IO Verification

Attach a USB

Keyboard to the

front of the device

While in the SCAN

menu select SAVE.

In the Save Trace

dialog, use the

keyboard to enter a

name for the trace.

Does the

keyboard work?

After entering a

name for the

scanned trace, press

Did the trace save

successfully?

Navigate to File →

Cable Scan Records

Does cable scan

records list a

collection of saved

traces?

Export the traces

using a USB drive or

CT Viewer and then

delete the traces on

the device

Attempt to save the

scanned trace again.

Did the trace fail

to save due to

insufficient space?

Hide the saved trace and

attempt to reload the

saved trace. See section
