Model Versions
The D25M is available in the Secure, IT or Basic models , which all come with different
features. The D25M is delivered with an L25 Super Wide Angle lens (horizontal angle of
82°) as standard. Four additional lenses (Wide Angle and Telephoto) with viewing angles
of 13°, 27°, 40° or 55° are available upon request. The standard IT and Secure models
include a pre-formatted and pre-installed 4 GB MicroSD card. Audio features can be added
at any time with the ExtIO module (not available for Basic model).
Basic and IT Cameras: Maximum Image Size Is now HD instead of VGA
The D25M-Basic and IT models now generate HD images (1280 x 720 pixels) instead of the
VGA images of predecessor models (640 x 480 pixels). The special quality advantage of a
MOBOTIX Basic/IT camera with HD resolution (1280 x 720): The HD images of a MOBOTIX are
generated by the high-resolution image sensor with 2592 x 1944 pixels and are optimized
and scaled down for the HD format. Because of the high-resolution sensor, the generated
images – especially with respect to quality and light sensitivity – are noticeably superior
than regular HD cameras that are only using a simple HD sensor with 1280 x 720 pixels.
