The supervision function
*
Programming on your terminal the supervision of a set of terminals enables you to:
• Know the status of supervised terminals (free, called, busy)
• Quickly pick up calls on these terminals
• Call these terminals directly.
Note:
this function will be programmed by your system operator. Using an expansion
module gives an immediate view of the programmed keys, regardless of whether the
terminal is idle or communicating.
Communicating with the supervision function
When the terminal supervision function has been programmed on a key of your terminal,
the status of the indicator light associated with the programmed key varies according to the
status of the supervised terminal.
• When the supervised terminal is in standby mode, the indicator
associated with the key is off.
• When the line of the supervised terminal is busy, the indicator
associated with the key is on.
• When a call arrives on the supervised terminal, the indicator
associated with the programmed key blinks and if programmed,
your terminal emits an audible signal*.
Picking up a call when your terminal is idle:
The supervised terminal is called and the programmed key
blinks:
• Press the supervised programmed key to pick up the call.
Intercepting an ongoing call:

programmed key blinks (visible on the expansion module):
