1080i XC De-Interlacing: this is a pull-down menu with two options – ON and OFF
ON – when cross-converting from 1080i to 720p, the 1080i input video is de-interlaced to produce a
higher quality 720p output video.
OFF – the de-interlacer is disabled when cross-converting from 1080i to 720p.
Noise Reducer sub-section
Noise Reducer: Noise reduction should only be used on noisy signals, as it may actually add some
processing noise to clean pictures

. The subjective effect can be seen using a high-quality video monitor at
the output. A slider and a data reporting/entry box allow the user to select a value in the range 0 (no
reduction) to 15 (maximum reduction).
The Test group
This group contains a single checkbox that send a 75% color bar test pattern (100% white), along with audio
test tones (a continuous tone on right channel with pulsed tone on left channel in every pair).

Options group
Two options are available for theXVP-801i:
•
the 16 Channel Internal Audio Processing option (XVP-801-OPT-AUD16)
•
the XVP-801i Full Upgrade option (XVP-801-FULL-OPT).
