Resolution
You can choose between pictures with various degrees of resolution – higher
resolution with greater detail always entails greater use of memory space.
Burst / continuous shooting
When this function is activated, the camera takes photos continuously when
the capture button is pressed. The function is normally switched off, and
an individual picture is taken when the capture button is pressed briefly.
Picture quality
You can choose between high, medium and low – image data is compressed
accordingly, and use of memory space is correspondingly higher or lower.
Exposure metering
Exposure metering settings can be configured here (as with video mode).
The additional settings options – sharpness, white balance, colour settings
and colour saturation – also correspond to the video settings.
ISO setting
Sensor sensitivity can be specified here. “Auto” is generally recommended,
but you can also choose 100, 200 and 400 ISO, whereby higher sensitivity
also increases pictures’ noise.
Exposure correction
Similarly to video mode, picture exposure can be adjusted to a slight over-
exposure or underexposure here.
Image stabilisation
You also have the option of turning on digital image stabilisation here in
order to reduce camera shake.
Quick review
Here, you can choose whether to display a photo briefly after being taken,
and for how long, in order to review the result of the picture.
Date stamp
Here, you can choose whether to display the date of capture and – if appli-
cable – the time of capture on your images.
