Taking photos
Press the capture button for a little longer to switch from video to photo
mode. You can take individual photos while in photo mode by pressing brief-
ly on the capture button. You can switch back to video mode by pressing the
capture button for a little longer.

4. a) Video function
The video function’s screen view shows the video function symbol on the
top left, the selected resolution in the middle, and the recording length on
the top right. The date, time and battery status are displayed at the bottom.
You can access the video settings by pressing briefly on the main button.
Within the video settings, you can navigate with the WiFi button on the front
of the camera, and with the orange capture button. Return to the previous
menu item by pressing briefly (!) on the main button.
An overview of selection options is provided below:
Resolution
Select the required resolution here. A higher resolution gives sharper and
more detailed images, but takes up more memory space.
Shooting intervals
Recorded video material is automatically divided into files of between 3 and
10 minutes in length. You can specify the length of these video segments.
File size is not unlimited if the “Off” setting is selected; rather, the footage
is divided up after 25 minutes of video running length at most.
Time lapse
Select the “Off” setting here for ordinary videos. You also have the option
of having pictures taken at specified intervals to create a time lapse video.
Image stabilisation
You can activate digital image stabilisation here in order to reduce camera
shake.
Image brightness
You can use this setting to set different levels of underexposure and over-
exposure. You should normally leave it at the standard setting of +/- 0.
White balance
You can apply presets corresponding to light conditions (includes daylight
and cloudiness selection options) here. Automatic white balance is preset
at the factory and is also recommended for start-up.
