Open the front cover (button A)

Grasp the two tabs

on the transfer

roller to lift it straight up

out of the

printer.

Be careful not to spill toner into the
printer.

Attention

Do not touch or scratch the black surface of the transfer roller or the
density sensor window.

With a clean, dry cloth or cotton
swab, gently wipe the density sen-
sor.

Do not use force to clean the sensor
window.

Replace the transfer roller by insert-
ing the pins at both ends of the
transfer roller into the U-shaped
bearings inside the printer.
