5.3 Power Management
5.3.1 Battery Detection
DPM1 can detect the battery energy and

display “Low Battery” message when battery voltage is less than 4.0 V.
„
shut down the device automatically when battery voltage is less than 3.85V.
5.3.2 Energy Saving
DPM1 can save the energy of the batteries by
„
switching to the standby mode automatically when the finger disconnects from the
sensor or the sensor disconnects from DPM1.
„
shutting down automatically if no finger is inserted into the sensor within 5 minutes
under the standby mode.
NOTE

DPM1 will automatically switch from the standby mode to the normal operation
mode when a finger is inserted into the sensor.
