Maintenance
When the Machine Is Not Used for a Long Time (CUSTODY WASH)
When the machine is not going to be used for a week or more, use the cleaning function for custody to clean the
head nozzles and ink discharge passage. After this, keep the machine in custody.

Press the key in the local mode.

Select the [MAINTENANCE] by pressing the or
key, and press the key.

Select the [STATION] by pressing the or
key, and press the key.

Select the [MENT:CUSTODY WASH] by pressing the
or key, and press the key.
• The carriage moves to the center, and the Y-bar moves to the
front.
• The wiper moves to the front.

Remove the front cover.
(1) Push the both ends of the front cover.
(2) Pull the cover to the front while opening upward.

Dip washing liquid into the cleaning swab, and wipe
dirt of the wiper nozzle.
• Wipe the places shown in the right.
• Put on supplied goggles and gloves.
