Installing the Q-Gard Pack 

 

Procedure 

Follow the steps below to install a new Q-Gard Pack. 
 

Step Action 

Diagram 

1 

Start in STANDBY Mode. 

NOTE: 

The Q-GARD PACK OUT 
Alarm message is not shown at 
this time.  By following the 
instructions earlier in this 
manual, the alarm was 
cancelled. 

 

2 

Open the left door of the  
System Cabinet. 
Remove the 2 protective caps 
located on the ports inside. 

 

3 

Remove the covers on the 2 
ports of the Q-Gard Pack. 
Make sure the rubber O-rings 
are firmly in place. 
Wet the O-rings with water. 

 

4 

Push the top of the Q-Gard 
Pack into the ports on the  
System.
