Grease filter/Extraction grille
The extraction grille and the reusable
metal grease filter collect solid matter
from kitchen vapours (grease, dust,
etc.) and therefore prevent soiling of the
cooker hood. The grease filter must be
cleaned after 30 hours of use. The
sensor control will light up.
Risk of fire due to soiled grease
filter.
Grease collected in the grease filter
can ignite.
Clean the grease filter regularly.
Removing the grease filter
Lift up the extraction grille.
Remove the grease filter carefully. Do
not let the grease filter tip over.
Pour out any liquid which has collec-
ted at the bottom of the grease filter.
Fitting the grease filter
The grease filter has a symbol on the
front. The arrow on this points to the
right or left.
Insert the grease filter so that the ar-
row is pointing to the opening inside
the casing.
Cleaning the extraction grille and the
grease filter by hand.
Clean the extraction grille and the
grease filter with a soft nylon brush in
a mild solution of hot water and a
little washing-up liquid. Do not use
concentrated washing-up liquid.
Cleaning the extraction grille and the
grease filter in the dishwasher
Place the extraction grille upright in
the lower basket.
Place the grease filter with the filter
base at the top in lower basket. En-
sure the spray arm is not obstructed.
Use a proprietary household dish-
washer detergent.
Select a dishwasher programme with
a wash temperature between 50 °C
and 65 °C.
Depending on the dishwasher deter-
gent used, cleaning the filter in a dish-
washer can cause permanent discol-
ouration to internal surfaces of the fil-
ter. However, this will not affect the
functioning of the filter in any way.
