Message Possible cause and remedy
The

symbol lights up
in the start display and
a buzzer also sounds.
The charcoal filter change indicator

in the start
display reminds you that the charcoal filter needs to
be changed.

Replace the charcoal filter in the holder (see
“Cleaning and care – Replacing the charcoal filters
(optional accessories)”) and touch the
 symbol
on the display to confirm that you have changed
the charcoal filter.
The

symbol will go out in the start display.
 lights up yellow
in the display and
an alarm also
sounds.
The ice cube drawer is not in the refrigeration
appliance. An alarm sounds after closing the door.

Tap

on the display.
The alarm message is confirmed and the warning
tone stops.
The current temperature is shown in the display
again.

Replace the drawer correctly or switch the ice
cube maker off.
The mains water connection has not been installed.

Make sure that the mains water connection is
installed correctly.
The water supply is turned off.

Turn on the tap.
There is a kink in the hose.
 Check the hose; if it is faulty, it must only be
replaced by an original Miele spare part.
The water connection pressure is too low.
 Check that the water connection pressure is
between 150 kPa and 620 kPa (1.5 bar and
6.2 bar).


 Remove the drawer and empty it.
