Tech ID
The TECH ID function lets you edit the technican name used in
the testing process.
1. From the TEST SETUP screen, press the ENTER key. An
alphanumeric keypad appears on the upper screen and a
EDIT TECH ID screen appears on the lower screen.
2. Use the ARROW keys to highlight the character on the
character map that you want and press the ENTER key to
select it. The character appears on the lower screen. Re-
peat this process to complete the line.
3. When you've completed the line, press the NEXT soft key
to save your changes and return to save your changes and
return to the TEST SETUP screen. Or press the BACK soft
key to return to return to the TEST SETUP screen without
saving any changes.
Number Of Jars
Use this option to determine the number of jars in each string
being tested.
1. Use the ARROW keys to highlight NUMBER OF JARS and
press the ENTER key. A screen appears as shown below.
2. Use the ARROW keys to the highlight the numbers on the
left side on the screen.
3. Press the ENTER key to select the number you've high-
ligted. The number appears at the bottom of the screen
next to NUM OF JARS:.
4. To step the NUM OF JAR number up or down by by one,
highlight the "+" or "–" and press ENTER. The number ad-
vances by one each time the ENTER button is press.
5. Use ARROW keys on the screen to move the cursor.
6. Press the F2 key to save your changes and return to the
TEST SETUP screen.
Jar Voltage
Use JAR VOLTAGE to set the voltage of the jars in a string.
1. Use the ARROW keys to highlight JAR VOLTAGE and press
the ENTER key. An EDIT JAR VOLTAGE screen appears on
the lower screen.
2. Use the ARROW keys to increase or decrease the jar volt-
age values. The range is between 2 and 16 volts in incre-
ments of 2.
3. Press the ENTER key to save your changes and return to
the TEST SETUP screen or press the BACK soft key to return
to the TEST SETUP screen without saving any changes.
Threshold
1. Use the ARROW keys to highlight THRESHOLD and press
the ENTER soft key.
2. The EDIT THRESHOLD screen with three options appears
on the lower screen.
3. Use the ARROW keys to select the threshold you wish to
edit and press the ENTER key. Or press the BACK soft key
to return to the Main Menu without saving your chang-
es..
Voltage Threshold
1. Use the ARROW keys to highlight VOLTAGE THRESHOLD
and press the ENTER key. The EDIT THRESHOLD VOLTAGE
screen appears on the lower screen.
2. Use the ARROW keys to select UPPER or LOWER VOLTAGE
THRESHOLD and press the ENTER key.
3. Use the ARROW keys to increase or decrease the thresh-
old value.
