DeviceConfig

2. Remove the protective armour and disconnect the device from the rechargeable battery pack

(see "Replacing the rechargeable battery or battery pack" on page 87) to expose the USB inter-
face (see "Overview" on page 21).

3. Connect the myDatalog2Ex to the PC using the cable USB cable USB-A/USB-B 1,5m (206.601)

supplied. The driver will need to be installed, if the device is being connected to the PC for the
first time. From Windows Vista onwards, this will complete automatically. Instructions on
installing the driver on older versions of Windows are included in the user manual for the
DeviceConfig ("myDatanetDeviceConfig Manual " 805004).

4. The calibration must only be completed by a restricted group of people. A password is there-

fore required. For this purpose, select "Program -> Activate Superuser Features" and enter the
password provided by the administrator of your myDatanet server in the dialogue window that
appears.

Note: Additional tabs will be displayed within the configuration program depending on the level of the pass-
word.
