Windows Application
Opens a drop-down menu. Can be used instead of a right mouse click.
Alt
Performs functions when used in conjunction with other keys. For example:
[Ctrl+Alt+Delete].
Backspace
Deletes the character one position left of the cursor when pressed.
Caps Lock
Turns the Caps Lock on or off. When Caps Lock is on, characters are
entered in uppercase.
Ctrl
Performs functions when used in conjunction with other keys. Usually used
for keyboard shortcuts. For example: [Ctrl+S] performs the Save function.
Delete
Deletes the character to the right of the cursor and moves the following text
into that space.
End
Moves the cursor to the end of the line that the cursor is positioned on.
Enter
Begins a new line or paragraph.
Esc
Reverses the action of another key, terminates dialog boxes, and closes
programs.
Function Keys
Instructs application programs to perform certain actions by generating
short, fixed character codes.
