15.
Install the o-ring (13) onto the end of the piston (2) that fits into the extension (20).
Installing the Isolator (If Removed)
1.
Mount the isolator (3) by first lubricating the 1.5" diameter opening at the base with Tri-
Clover spray or an equivalent lubricant.
2.
Obtain the four 3/8" hex bolts and lubricate them with Never-Seez.
3.
Attach the isolator to the hydraulic cylinder using the four 3/8" hex bolts, making sure to
orient the “TOP” mark to the right (3 o’clock) if standing in front of/facing the front of
the processor. (The cover plate should be sandwiched between the hydraulic cylinder and
the isolator). It is recommended that the bolts be tightened in an X pattern.
4.
Lubricate all threaded components and metal-to-metal contact surfaces with Never-Seez.
Failure to lubricate parts may result in galling of components. Inspect the external o-rings
(and if using liquid quench, the internal o-rings). If scratches or cuts are visible, replace
the o-rings and lubricate them with Tri-Clover spray or an equivalent lubricant.
5.
Install the isolator bearing into the isolator. If necessary, insert two #10-32 x 2" long
screws into the isolator bearing. As you insert the isolator bearing, the screws should be
facing you.
6.
Push the isolator bearing until it will not move any further.
7.
Remove the two screws.
Installing the Liquid End Body
1.
Apply a light coating of Never-Seez to the liquid end body threads and make sure the
hydraulic cylinder extension (20) is seen through the access holes in the isolator such that
