A 3.5.2 Response Format and Error Handling
The API returns a data package in the following form for all requests:
Data
includes the actual information in reply to the specific request.
Errors
include errors which occurred
when processing the requests. Each element in
errors
has the following structure:
Attribute Model Content
message String Description of error in English.
mapping String / zero Either zero when mapping is not present, or string, describing a
resource attribute, for which an error was detected. Mapping usually
occurs when a resource is updated and, for example, validation for the
new values fails. The expression in
mapping
is valid JavaScript. An er-
ror for the attribute
foo
for the second element in the bar list would be
described by
bar[1].foo
.
code String The error code describes the type of error, which occurred, in a general
manner.
