2.5.2.2

FAULT FINDING FLOWCHART

Start up

CHECK that there is

power available and

that all thermostat are

calling for heat.

Is the burner

illuminated and

showing 3,4 or 5

on the STATUS

display?

Is the STATUS

display

illuminated?

Does the burner

fan start to run?

Is the STATUS

display flashing?

Is there power

at the

electronics

module?

CHECK THE

LOCKOUT CODES

IN SECTION 1.7.2.

CHECK that there is

the right tension on

terminal of the fan

power plug.

CHECK that the fan

power plug is

correctly inserted

and pushed home.

Is the STATUS

display flashing?

CHECK that continuity

between L & N and

that they are not

crossed over.

Does the gas

valve lift and the

burner ignite?

Does the burner

remain ON

without lockout?

Isolate power and check that the electrodes

are clean and undamaged and that the gap

is set according to section 2.5.1. If doubt,

replace the electrode.

Place pressure gauge on test point and

check that the supply pressure is regular.

Check setting of the throttle and offset

adjustment screws.

Replace the gas valve.

Isolate power and

remove the cover of

the electronics module

and check the fuse.

Replace the electronics

module.

Isolate power and check that the

ignition cable is connected to the

electronics module and that the

spark cap is pushed well home on

the ignition electrode.

CHECK THE

LOCKOUT CODES

IN SECTION 1.7.2.

Is the STATUS

display flashing?

ALL OKAY

Is there gas

available?

Place pressure gauge on test point

and check that the supply pressure

is regular.

Check that the gas valve plug is

connected to the valve and is

undamaged.

After 40 sec does

the burner start

to spark?

CHECK THE

LOCKOUT CODES

IN SECTION 1.7.2.

Check that the electrodes are clean

and undamaged and that the gap is

set according to section 2.5.1. If

doubt, replace the electrode

ONLY REPLACE THE SPARK

CAP WITH A GENUINE

SPARE PART, as this cap is

not a stardard one!

CHECK gas train

and gas supplies.

ONLY REPLACE THE GAS VALVE

WITH A GENUINE SPARE PART, as

this valve has been factory pre-set!

YES
