Disassembly process
Important notes
No persons or items can remain on the
platforms when assembling, changing
or disassembling the climbing unit.
No personnel may stand on or below
the platform during disassembly.
OSHA approved fall protection must
be worn at all times when on MGC
Platforms, including when assembly
or disassembly of guard rails which
exposes free slab edges.
Personal
protective equipment must be
worn at all times
that protects you
from falling.
You can ascend to and descend from
the MGC platform as follows:

through the building‘s existing wall,
openings for doors or windows onto the
secondary platform provides sufficient
fall protection when entering and leaving
the platform.

or by using appropiate OSHA
approved personal transport devices, e.g.
workman basket or hoisting platform.
Make sure to observe the federal, state
and local regulations when using such
devices.
Please note
The crane that is used for disassembly
must have sufficient height that it can
lift the complete platform out of the
climbing shoes MGC from above.
