22 kHz signal/toneburst signal
These two signals are needed only for Sat systems
equipped with a multiswitch.
The 22 kHz signal should be used for switching bet-
ween the upper and lower frequency bands (called
the high band and the low band). The toneburst sig-
nal should be used for switching between satellites
(e.g. Astra and Eutelsat) in different positions.
The settings depend on the components
used in the Sat system and it may be
necessary to reverse the signal assign-
ments.
Switching the 22 kHz and toneburst
signals on and off
• Use the cursor control key to select
„22 kHz signal“ and press „OK“ to
confirm your selection. The cursor is
now located before the entry „22 kHz
signal“ in the setting window.
• Use the
– +
key to switch this signal „On“ or
„Off“.
• If you select „On“, you must specify, in the
second line, whether the 22 kHz signal is to be
used for the „Frequency band“ or the „Position“.
• You can then programme the toneburst signal in
a similar manner, selecting the other function.
• Press the „OK“ key to save the new settings.
