1. Release the work surface:
a. Key Lock option: Insert the key into the lock on the front of the Technology Bay and turn
to the left.

b. Pad Lock option: Insert the key in the pad lock, turn key to unlock it and remove the pad
lock.
c. No Lock option: Loosen and remove the six Phillips head screws holding the work
surface. The screws are located under the work surface where it extends out from the
Technology Bay housing (two under the front edge and two under each side edge left
and right).
2. Lift up the front of the work surface from technology bay housing to access the laptop
computer and its mounting tray. You can also now reach the computer Power Switch if you
otherwise cannot.

3. Continue to remove the work surface to access the computer or equipment for installation or
removal by lifting it off completely.
