6.5 Replacing the nozzle of the oven or solid top pilot flame
• Place a 12-mm spanner on the pilot burner body (item 1 in Fig. 20) to counterbal-
ance torsional stress;
• with a 10-mm spanner, unscrew the nut (item 5 in Fig. 20) fixing the thermocouple
and remove the thermocouple;
• unscrew the nut fixing the gas pipe (item 8) and remove the pipe;
• take the nozzle (item 6) out of the pilot burner body and replace it with a suitable
one (see
"Table 2: burner specifications" );
• refitting the spare part is a reversal of removal;
• it is not necessary to adjust primary air;
