14. Preparations before first use

Draining off condensate water
During transportation, condensate may form inside the air tank because
of temperature fluctuation. Each time a compressor is installed, the
condensation water must first be drained off – also in compressors with a
membrane dryer.
Procedure:
Check for condensate in the air receiver.
Switch off the compressor and reduce pressure to 1 bar
Place a collection container under the air receiver
Open the drain valve until there is no more condensate inside the air
receiver.
Close the drain valve again.

Installation of the manometer
The manometers must be installed and checked for leakage.
