3.6.7 ARP table

The Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) is a protocol for mapping an IP address to a physical
machine address that is recognized in the local network. The ARP table will only contain entries from

the LAN1 or LAN2 networks.

IP address

IP address on the LAN.

HW address

The MAC address of this device/PC.

Device

LAN interface that this device or PC is on.
