Update software

Check for

updates to the K22 DPV compass at:

engineering.com/downloads

Download and save the firmware file.

Connect to the compass as described above and go to the third tab: ‘Update firmware’.

n the ‘Select file’

line, select the file that has just been downloaded. (That's the file with the

extension .mmf)
The Windows software shows the version that is in the compass and the version that will be
uploaded.

Then click on ‘Start upload’. The

K22 DPV screen will show a countdown of 3, 2, 1 and then the

upload starts. The green bar appears and will turn completely green. Then the second bar fills with
green. This one, like the first bar, should become completely green. The upload is then complete.
The compass starts up automatically once and then turns off. Press the power-button to start the
compass.

Error during update

What to do if an error occurs during the update firmware process:
If there is an error on the K22 DPV Windows screen, something went wrong with the upload of the
software.
