Drain any water from the fuel filters.
•
Check the seawater inlets for debris or marine growth.
•
Check and clean the seawater strainer.
Every two months

Check the battery connections and fluid level.
•
Treat the engine surfaces with Corrosion Guard if operating in saltwater, brackish, or polluted
waters.
•
Inspect all of the engine anodes every two months or every 250 hours, whichever occurs first.
Replace the anodes if 50% or more eroded.
•
Ensure that the gauges and the wiring connections are secure. Clean the gauges every two
months or every 50 hours, whichever occurs first. If operating in saltwater, the interval is
reduced to every 25 hours or 30 days whichever occurs first.

Change the transmission oil and filter.

•
Touch up the power package with paint and spray with Corrosion Guard.

•
Check all of the ground bonding circuit for loose or damaged connections.
•
Check the engine alignment—dealer service.
•
Check the engine mounts for tightness and torque if necessary—dealer service.
•
Check the electrical system for loose, damaged, or corroded terminals.
•
Inspect the cooling system and the exhaust system for damage or leaks. Check both systems
hose clamps for tightness.
Every 250 hours or
annually
(whichever occurs first)
•
Inspect the oil vapor filters. Clean or replace as necessary.
•
Clean the air filter.
•
Inspect and clean the seawater section of the closed cooling system. Check the closed
cooling fluid level and level of protection. Clean, inspect, and test the pressure cap—dealer
service.
•
Inspect the condition and tension of the engine serpentine belt.
•
Check the engine to propeller shaft alignment.
•
Replace the engine oil and filter.
•
Replace the transmission oil and filter.
•
Inspect the seawater pump impeller. Replace if necessary—dealer service.
•
Inspect and clean the turbocharger—dealer service.
•
Replace the fuel filters—on‑engine and remote‑mounted.
•
Inspect and clean the heat exchanger.
•
Inspect the driveshaft U‑joints and lubricate them, if equipped with grease fittings.
•
Interrogate fault memory.
Every 500 hours or
annually
(whichever occurs first)
•
Clean the fuel tank—dealer service.
•
Replace the oil vapor filters every 500 hours or 2 years, whichever occurs first.
•
Replace the seawater pump impeller every 500 hours or 5 years, whichever occurs first.
•
Replace the engine coolant water pump every 500 hours or 5 years, whichever occurs first—
dealer service.
Every 1000 hours or

•
Inspect the front pulley damper every 1000 hours or 5 years, whichever occurs first—dealer
service.
•
Change the engine coolant every 1000 hours or 2 years, whichever occurs first—dealer
service.
•
Change the serpentine drive belt every 1000 hours or 2 years, whichever occurs first—dealer
service.
•
Replace the air filter every 1000 hours or 3 years, whichever occurs first.
