is a request, the DHCP server will offer unused IP from the IP

address pool to the requesting computer.

Assign fixed IP to MAC:

If there are some computers, like

web/E-mail server which will be assigned a fixed IP by DHCP

server, you can set those computers with their own

predefined IP. Those computers will be identified by their

MAC address.
