* NOTE Vehicle damage from the jack
If you do not position the jack correctly at
the appropriate jack support point of the
vehicle, the jack could tip over with the vehi‐
cle raised.

The jack is designed exclusively for
jacking up the vehicle at the jack sup‐
port points.
#
Take the ratchet ring spanner out of the tyre-
change tool kit and place it on the hexagon
nut of the jack so that the lettering "AUF" is
visible.
#
Position jack 2 at jack support point 1 .
#
Turn ratchet ring spanner 3 clockwise until
jack 2 sits completely on jack support point
1 and the base of the jack lies evenly on
the ground.
#
Continue to turn ratchet ring spanner 3
until the tyre is raised a maximum of 3 cm
off the ground.

Loosen and remove the wheel (

Removing a wheel

The vehicle is raised (

When changing a wheel, avoid applying any force
to the brake discs, since this could impair the
level of comfort when braking.
* NOTE Damage to threading from dirt on
wheel bolts

Do not place wheel bolts in sand or on
a dirty surface.
#
Unscrew the uppermost wheel bolt com‐
pletely.
