a c c u ra c y o f th e disp la ye d te m p e ra
tu re can on ly be ve rifie d by c o m p a ri
s on to a th e rm o m e te r p lace d n e x t to
th e s e n s o r, n o t by c o m p a ris o n to
e x te rn a l d is p la y s (e.g., ba nk sig ns,
etc.).
