6.4.3 Control Settings Application
The Control Settings App allows the user to select and configure the control parameters for the
needle valve regulator in the instrument. This display remains the same for either one or two
transducer instruments. The Control Settings screen is divided into two pages and can be navi-
gated using the Next Page [
] and Previous Page [
] buttons. The Control Settings
App provides two preset control modes “Industrial” and “High Speed” which affect the “Control
Behavior”, “Stable Window” and “Stable Delay”. The High Speed control mode is set as default.
The Industrial control mode provides a smaller stability window and slower stable delay. Each of
the control parameters can be changed by the user to best suit their application in the “Custom”
control mode. The “Custom” control mode retains the values of the parameters entered by the
user until the user changes it again. Figure 6.4.3-A and Figure 6.4.3-B show the App display for
Control Settings App. Figure 6.4.3-C shows the first page of the Control Settings App in “High-
Speed” control modes.
