6. POSITIONING YOUR APPLIANCE
•
Your new appliance may be installed virtually anywhere in your home, however, when choosing a
loca�on ensure that the general instruc�ons are followed.
•
The positioning of the appliance should ideally be fitted in front of a flat wall of block/brick
construction or an internal wooden frame plaster board wall.
•
Always ensure the appliance is adequately supported and sits on a firm structure.
•
The appliance should be located on a flat floor or surface.
•
If the electricity supply cable is damaged do not use the appliance un�l it has been replaced.
•
Ensure that curtains and furniture are not posi�oned close to the chosen posi�on, as this would create
a poten�al fire hazard or block the heater outlet ducts.
•
For best results, install out of direct sunlight.
•
The appliance should ideally be located close to a suitable mains socket to enable connec�on.
•
The electrical socket must be easily accessible to allow disconnec�on a�er the appliance is fi�ed.
•
Warning! if the electrical socket is not accessible once the appliance has been installed then a
qualified electrician will need to install an isolation switch.
•
WARNING!
Keep any furnishings or combustible materials at least 1m from the front of the
electric stove.
