3.2.9. Connect the appliance to the mains power.
3.2.10. The display screen will display 12:00.
3.2.11. Press the On/Off button and the red indicator
light will come on.
3.2.12. The coffee will start to dispense within a few
seconds.
3.2.13. The coffee jug can be removed at any time
during the brewing process. The anti-drip system
prevents coffee from dripping out when the jug is
removed. However, it is not advised to have the jar
removed for more than 30 seconds, as the filter
could possibly overflow.
3.2.14. When you have finished making your coffee,
you can stop the machine by pressing the On/Off
button twice.
3.2.15. If you do not switch the machine off, it will
automatically switch to the keep warm function
(blue light will illuminate) and turn off after 40
minutes.
3.2.16. If you wish to turn off the coffee maker
completely and by yourself, you need to push the
On/Off button twice (first push will enable keep
warm, second push will turn off the machine)
3.2.17. To set the clock on your coffee machine,
plug the unit into the mains.
3.2.18. Push the Program button. 12:00 will be
displayed on the screen.
3.2.19. Push the Hour button to select your desired
hour.
3.2.20. Push the Minute button to select your
desired minute.
3.2.21. Push the program button twice, skipping
over the word timer.
3.2.22. At this point the screen will display your
input time only.
3.2.23. To preset a brewing time on the machine,
you need to have the clock already set (see above
steps).
3.2.24. Once the clock is set, push the On/Off but-
ton twice, skipping past the run function (red light),
and until the keep warm function (blue light) is on.
3.2.25. Push the Hour button to select your desired
hour.
3.2.26. Push the Minute button to select your
desired minute.
3.2.27. Push the program button again.
3.2.28. The preset time will flash for a few seconds
and then be locked in.
3.2.29. Your coffee maker will now start the brew

once the preset time has been reached (the red light
will come on).
3.2.30. WARNING: do not open the coffee maker lid
whilst the machine is in operation.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance

4.1.1. Always ensure that the coffee maker is dis-
connected from the mains before descaling. Allow
the coffee maker to cool down before undertaking
any cleaning task.
4.1.2. Clean the outer parts of the coffee machine
with a damp cloth and a few drops of mild detergent
and dry
4.1.3. Do not use solvents or products with an
acid or base PH such as bleach or any abrasive
products.
4.1.4. To clean the permanent filter, simply empty it
out and rinse it under running water.
4.1.5. Dry all parts completely before re-assembling
and storing.
4.1.6. DESCALING: Scaling or furring is a common
problem in hard water areas. Frequency will depend
on your area and your water hardness and how
often you use your coffee maker.
4.1.7. Soft water areas – every 6 months, medium
water areas – every 2/3 months, hard water areas
– 6/8 weeks.
4.1.8. If the time it takes to brew coffee suddenly
increases, it is recommended that the coffee maker
be descaled. The hardness of your water can be
advised by your local waterworks.

5. Anomalies and repair
5.1. Take the appliance to an authorized support
center if product is damaged or other problems
arise.
5.2. If the connection to the mains has been dam-
aged, it must be replaced, and you should proceed
as you would in the case of damage.
