The rear panel, as shown, provides access to the 10 GbE ports (up to 288 depending on the number
of line boards installed), line board latches, power supply units, and control board.

1.2.2 Plug-in Modules - Overview
As a modular system, the Vantage 8500 switch comprises plug-in modules that are installed into its
chassis. The following table summarizes the part types and their respective Mellanox names.
