INTRODUCTION
To get the best out of your new appliance, please read through these instructions
carefully befor
e using it for the first time. We also r ecommend that you keep the
instructions for future reference, so that you can r emind yourself of the functions of
the appliance.
SAFETY MEASURES
General
• Incorr ect use of the appliance may cause personal injury and damage to it.
• Use for its intended purpose only . The manufactu rer is not responsible for any
injury or damage resulting fr om incor rect use or handling (see also Warranty
T erms).
• For connection to 230 V, 50 Hz only .
• For domestic use onl y . Not for outdoor or comme r cial use.
• The fan should be set up on a stable a nd level surface to avoid it being knocked
over .
• It is not advisable to expose people, in particular babies and the elderly, to a
continuous str eam of cold ai r .
• The appliance or cor d must not be placed in water or any other liquid.
• Never touch the appliance, co r d or plug with wet or damp hands.
• Never insert your fingers, pencils or other objects th rough the cage during
operation.
• Never leave unattended when in use, and keep an eye on child r en.
• Always turn the appliance off using the on/off button, and unplug it, when it is
not in use.
• Do not place or store near other heat sour ces or in a damp envi r onment.
• Do not expose to dir ect sunlight for long periods.
• Never try to r epair the appliance yourself.
• Unauthorized r epairs or modifications will invalidate the guarantee. Please
contact the store where you bought the appliance for r epairs under guarantee.
Cord, plug and mains socket
• Keep Cord away fr om hot objects and open flame.
• Check that it is not possible to pull or trip over the co rd or any extension cor d.
• Check regularly that the cord and plug ar e not damaged and do not use it if
ther e is any damage, or if it has been d r opped on the floo r, dropped in water or
damaged in any other wa y .
• If the appliance or plug is damaged, it must be inspected and, if necessar y,
repaired by an authorized repair engineer, otherwise ther e is a risk or electric
shock.
• Remove the plug f r om the socket befo r e cleaning.
• Avoid pulling the cord when r emoving the plug f r om the socket. Instead, hold
the plug.
• Do not wind the cord ar ound the appliance.
• For additional protection, the installation of a residual curr ent device (RCD)
having a rated residual operating curr ent not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in
the electrical circuit supplying the bathr oom. Ask your installer for advice.
• Ensure that the cable does not get caught beneath the device, in drawers,
behind shelves etc.
• Do not run the cable under carpets, rugs, etc.
• Ensur e the cable is kept away f r om busy a r eas to avoid anyone tripping over it.

FITTING:
• Place the 2 base feet so they form a c r oss.
• Attach the stand to the base feet using the 4 scr ews.
• Tur n the height adjustment ring counte r clockwise o ff fr om the stand.
• Place the base cap so it covers the 4 sc r ews.
• Loosen the height adjustment ring.
• Slide out the stand to the desi r ed height and tighten the height adjustment ring
firml y .

children in the vicinity of the appliance when it is being used. The appliance
is not a toy.
