AC Voltage Detection
To detect AC voltage, the top of the instrument must be placed close to a live conductor.
The instrument gives an audible, as well as a visual, indication when voltage is detected.
Caution:
If there is no voltage indication, voltage could still be present. Do not rely on this detection
when used in the vicinity of shielded wire. Operation may be effected by differences in socket design,
insulation thickness and type.
