Bar

• Turn the bar round at regular intervals to

ensure that it wears uniformly.

• Check that the bar is not warped. Check

the slot for wear. Place a ruler between
the bar and the outside of a cutting tooth.
If there is a gap between the ruler and the
bar this means the slot is in good
condition. Otherwise the slot is worn and
the bar should be repaired or replaced.
