insertion tool unless it is in contact with
material. Loose strokes can lead to
excessive wear on the hexagon on the
tool and the sliding sleeve on the tool
holder.
Contact pressure:
• The handle and the arm serve to control
the tool, not to apply more pressure on
the material. Only as much muscle power
as is needed for the pneumatic tool to
overcome the resistance of the tool guide
and for the stroke to go forward without
the tool bouncing up should be used.
Leverage
• Leverage is limited. Excessive leverage can
cause the shaft or the insertion tool to
brake. Risk of falling if the shaft or tool
breaks as a result of unexpected shift in
weight. Do not apply to much leverage.
Lubrication
• We recommend normal operation of the
pneumatic tool in conjunction with a
maintenance unit with a mist oil can.
• It can be good to grease the hexagon tool
holder for more pressing power. An
excessive amount of oil dampens the
hammer effect.
• Drops will form on the lever or tool holder.
In this case reduce the amount of oil and
clean the tool if necessary. Too little oil will
damage the machine and tool. Check the
oil supply, fill with oil if necessary, or
adjust the lubricator.
NOTE:
Check after two hours if the tool holder has
a film of oil over it. If not, add a few drops of
special oil in the connecting hose.
USE
Never point the machine at people or animals.
If people or animals come into the risk area
the operator must immediately switch off the
machine and keep them at a safe distance.
The risk area is always based on the work
and the tool. It is therefore the operator’s
responsibility to define the risk area.
WARNING!
Risk of serious or fatal injury if the machine
- even with out tool - is pointed at people or
animals, and if people or animals are in the
risk zone.
IMPORTANT:
The machine’s hammer mechanism only
works with the tool is in contact with the
material being processed. This function
protects the machine from damage.
1. Press the trigger to supply the hammer
mechanism with compressed air and to
start the machine.
2. Always hold the machine with both hands
when working.
NOTE:
Always hold the pneumatic tool with one
hand on the arm or handle and the other on
the trigger.
3. Release the trigger to interrupt the supply
of compressed air. The pneumatic tool
stops after a short delay.
WARNING!
Risk of serious or fatal injury, or damage
to the machine or tool, when the trigger is
permanently locked. Never lock the trigger
with cable ties, tape or any other means.
Application against the material
• Hold the insertion tool on the material
that is to worked on. Do not start the
