• Wear a safety helmet when working
above head height. Make sure that other
people are not put in danger.
• Check that the workpiece is properly
secured.
• Do not switch on the pneumatic tool
before the insertion tool has been locked
properly in place in the tool with the lock.
• All parts that show signs of wear, or
cracked or warped parts in the locking
mechanism, must be replaced to avoid
injury.
• Place the insertion tool firmly on the
surface to be worked before switching on
the pneumatic tool.
Risks during operation
• When using the pneumatic tool the hands
of the operator can be exposed to the risk
of blistering, cutting, grazing and
exposure to heat. Wear suitable gloves to
protect the hands.
• The user and maintenance personnel
must be in good physical shape to be able
to control the size, weight and power of
the pneumatic tool.
• Hold the pneumatic tool properly: Be
prepared to counteract normal or sudden
movements - keep both hands ready.
• Make sure to have a firm footing and
good balance at all times.
• Avoid starting the machine
unintentionally. In the event of an
interruption in the air supply, switch off
the pneumatic tool with the switch.
• Only use lubricant recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Avoid direct contact with the insertion tool
during and after use because it can be hot
or sharp.
• Use personal safety equipment and
always wear safety glasses.

• The user or the user’s employer must
assess the special risks that can occur
during use.
• Read the safety instructions and make
sure they are understood before using,
repairing, maintaining and replacing
accessories, and before working near the
pneumatic tool. Failure to do so can result
in serious personal injury.
• The pneumatic tool must only be adjusted
or used by qualified and trained
operators.
• Do not modify the pneumatic tool.
Modifications can reduce the effect of the
safety devices and put the operator at risk.
• Never use a damaged pneumatic tool.
Keep the pneumatic tool carefully
maintained. Check at regular intervals
that all moving parts are working properly
and not jammed, and check that there
are no broken or damaged parts that
would affect functionality of the
pneumatic tool. Check that all labels and
markings are in good condition and
legible. Damaged parts must be repaired
or replaced before using the machine
again. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained pneumatic tools.

• Disconnect the pneumatic tool from the
compressed air supply before replacing
accessories or carrying out adjustments
or maintenance.
• Parts can be ejected at high speed if the
workpiece, an accessory or the pneumatic
tool gets broken.

protection when using, changing
accessories, repairing or maintaining the
