4.4 Device cleaning
4.4.1 Operator and Patient Screens

Material
Use a standard Screen Cleaner with a microfiber cloth.
Procedure Turn OFF the device and pull the electrical plug from the wall socket. Clean touch
screen at the beginning of each working day or when there are many fingerprint on the
screen. Regarding the patient screen, cleaning is on demand.
Prohibition a.
Do not use any materials/ liquids beside the definition above. Any other material
may harm and damage the screen surface.

Confirm the liquid Alcohol-free, Ammonia-free and Phosphate-free.
4.4.2 Metal & Harness

Material
Use a light moistened cloth to clean metal surfaces and harness straps of the device.
For disinfection, MediTouch recommends the
Bacillol plus
, which is an Alcohol-based
rapid disinfectant for disinfecting alcohol resistant surfaces.
Usage
Turn OFF the device and pull the electrical plug from the wall socket, clean all parts of
the device excluding the screens.
4.4.3 Running belt

Material
Use a light wet (water) cloth to clean the black running belt of the device. No special
need for disinfection process.
Usage
Turn OFF the device and pull the electrical plug from the wall socket, clean all running
belt surface by sliding the running belt over its pulleys.
Prohibition Do not use the light wet cloth to clean the screens.
