3.7.8. Satellite
Make sure that your satellite connection is connected to the
LNB
connection.
Select the required type of satellite (
PREFERRED SATELLITE
or
GENERAL SATELLITE
) and press
OK
.
Select the desired provider and press
OK
. This option is only available under
PREFERRED SATEL
LITE
.
If you initially selected
PREFERRED SATELLITE
and the provider
FAST SCAN
DEUTSCHLAND
, an LNB search is performed before the channel search. To start the LNB
search, select
SCAN
and press
OK
or
. The LNB search is started.
Then select the antenna type
UNIVERSAL
,
SINGLECABLE
or
JESS SINGLECABLE
and press
OK
.
Press the
button to continue. Under
SINGLECABLE
and
JESS SINGLECABLE
the following op-

Select the desired

Select the band frequency
1210, 1284, 1400

You can set a band frequency of your choice here using the virtual
keyboard. This option can only be edited if you have previously se-
lected

BAND FREQUENCY

If necessary, you can now configure satellite settings. Otherwise, skip
DVBS configuration set-
ting
by pressing the
button.
Under
SELECT SATELLITE
, you can, if necessary, configure settings for the following options:
Satellite Setup
UNIVERSAL
SATELLITE STATUS
Activate/deactivate the satellite status. When deactivated, LNB set-
tings can be changed or a search started.
LNB POWER
Set the LNB power here.
LNB FREQUENCY
You can set the centre frequency here.
DISEQC SET
If you have connected multiple LNBs or a DiSEqC switch to your sat-
ellite antenna, set the desired LNB here.
TONE 22 KHZ
Set the audio here, if necessary.
TONE BURST
If your satellite system requires a tone burst, you can set it to
BURST
A
or
B
here
TRANSPONDER
Select the transponder on which the search will be started.
SIGNAL QUALITY
The signal quality is shown in per cent. Settings here cannot be
changed.
SIGNAL LEVEL
The signal strength is shown in per cent. Settings here cannot be
changed.

SINGLECABLE / JESS SINGLECABLE
SATELLITE STATUS
Activate/deactivate the satellite status. When deactivated, LNB set-
tings can be changed or a search started.
POSITION
Select the desired position
